What Personal Information are we likely to gather or have about you?
We gather personal information about you in a number of ways:Whilst you do not need to register with us to watch videos on the website, you will need to register and provide us with limited personal information about yourself if you want to use the On Camera facility or certain other activities, for example: uploading videos, posting comments, flagging videos or watching restricted videos.
The kind of information we gather includes your name, gender, date of birth, whereabouts in the world you live together with your email address and a password (which is used to protect your account from unauthorised access).
We may also gather and record information about your usage of the website and the various services offered or made available through it: for example, the videos you watch, your favourites, the contacts you communicate with. When you are logged in, we may associate that information with your account. We may use clear GIFs in HTML-based emails sent to our users to track which emails are opened by recipients.
We also collect and record personal information which you disclose online (for example, on discussion boards, in messages and chat areas and what you put on your profile pages, etc.) which may be becomes publicly available and can be collected and used by others. For this reason, we strongly recommend you do not display your contact details on your Profile pages!

What Do We Do With Your Personal Information?
In the main, the personal information you give us or we collect about you and your use of the Tovo services is used to make available, operate and maintain the Tovo services and to provide any personalised features and functionality and to process any flagging activity or correspondence you send to us.Your account name is displayed to other users when you upload On Camera or other submissions to the website. Any videos that you submit to us and which you have not restricted to your Account only may be redistributed by us via the Tovo website, through the Internet and other media channels and may be viewed by the general public.

If you choose to add certain features to your Profile page, these features and your activity associated with these features will be displayed to other Users and may be aggregated and shared with other Users. Third-party Advertisers, Links to Other Sites
Tovo allows other persons or companies (called ad servers or ad networks) to serve advertisements within the Tovo website and which may use technology to send, directly to your browser, the advertisements and links that appear on the Tovo website. They automatically receive your IP address when this happens. They may also use other technologies (such as cookies, JavaScript or Web Beacons) to measure the effectiveness of their advertisements and to personalise the advertising content you see.Tovo does not provide any personally identifiable information to these organisations without your consent or except as part of a specific programme or feature for which you will have the ability to opt in or opt out.
However, please note that if an advertiser asks Tovo to show an advertisement to a certain audience or audience segment and you respond to that advertisement, the advertiser may conclude that you fit the description of the audience they are trying to reach. The advertiser may also use information regarding your use of the Tovo website, such as the number of times you viewed an ad (but not any personally identifiable information), to determine which ads to deliver to you.

Tovo's privacy policy does not apply to, and we cannot control the activities of, such other advertisers or websites.
